The founders of PHS had a passion for geriatric care. We have built upon that foundation over our many years of operation to manifest a unifying passion to create something of lasting value for the people we work with and for the patients and families we serve. PHS today combines the best of advanced information technology, the commitment of dedicated professionals, and a culture that emphasizes care and responsibility as we serve our increasingly growing senior population.
We are structured to provide the best and most efficient approach possible to managing and delivering care in this challenging setting. In addition to dozens of practicing clinicians, PHS' structure also importantly includes Regional Nurse Practitioners, a Compliance Department, a Coding Department, a Clinical Documentation Improvement Department, a Risk Mitigation Department, a Clinical Education Department, a Credentialing and Enrollment Department, and a Revenue Cycle Department. In spite of bringing to PHS full credentials, each professional who joins PHS completes a fast-paced and comprehensive five day orientation, as well as multiple weeks of additional training specific to long term and post-acute care.
